5/19/99 Freshly made long leg cylinder cast. I didn't want to waste supplies on a long leg cast because the time I'd spend in it was changed to be less than I'd hoped. I'm playing an old 12 string guitar (a Harmony Stella).
4/4/99 Pictures of my latest fiber long leg cast. Notice the last row; the irony of me crutching, at the ATM, front of a handicap sign, and the pic of me climbing the stairs, both feet in mid-air. Thought these were cool pix.
2/17/99 These are pictures of my latest long leng cast. I went to the grocery store to get some beer.
Pictures: 1. Checking out some spirits 2. Nice size bottle of Beam 3. More spirits 4. Looking at some Beefeater Gin 5. More spirits 6. Leaving the store 7. At the car 8. Struggling to get in the car 9. Still struggling 10. Damn these stairs are steep 11-13. Heading up the stairs 14. Home sweet home
2/16/99 Pictures of my latest fiber long leg cast: This one was on the right foot this time, and it is great. I haven't done any publicking yet, but might a little tomorrow.
These are pics of me in a cylinder cast. As you can see, a cylinder cast does not include the ankle and foot area. It's a perfectly easy cast to do if you want to immobilize the leg but do not want to deal with building the ankle. I made this one out of nine 3" plaster rolls and two 4" plaster rolls. I bent the knee quite a bit in order to force myself to crutch more than I normally would.

My black long leg cast I had about a month ago.
I had this purple long leg cast only for a day because the tape didn't stick very well. I added to this purple cast to make a mulitcolor cast (see set below).
This is the upgraded (for better strength) long leg cast. Part blue, part pink, part purple.
Same long leg cast as above but with an added blue long arm cast
I had some polyester tape left, but I didn't think I had enough to make a llc so I just did a cylinder cast. I should've just tried a llc with 5 rolls of 4". I'm not a big fan of wearing clc's. And I will never buy polyester tape again. It gives me a skin rash, bad.
