5/03/04 From a recent Law & Order, episode "The Dead Wives Club" (15x02, wow! fifteen seasons on the air). After killing a woman who took her husband, she trips on stairs and breaks her wrist. The episode actually has a doctor explain the type of injury she would have, based on what kind of cast she is wearing, opposed to the type of injury she says she has, allowing the police to look in her direction for the murder. Cool episode.

7/12/00 TV captures from The Tonight Show featuring Nicole Sullivan of Mad TV in a nice fibre sac. "she broke her wrist and talked about going to the emergency room. She broke it after having a few drinks on the 4th of July and trying to ride a skateboard type scooter thing." (EJ OAG post) She also mentioned she put some glitter on it, but I doubt you can tell from the captures.
